Can I Fish on Conservators Land?
Residents of Castlemorton, Birtsmorton can fish at Hollybush and Mount Pleasant ponds. There is public fishing at the Mill pond, Castlemorton amd the Moat pond at Sherrards Green. Please read 'Fishing Regulations'.

Can I Fly My Kite?
Yes kit flying is permitted on the hills but be aware of other users such as horse riders, walkers and mountain bikers.

Is Canoeing Allowed on the Lakes and Ponds?
The lakes and pond contain a variety of wildlife and for this reason we do not encourage canoeing.

Can I have a Picnic, Cooking Stove or Barbeque?
Many walkers carry a picnic up on the Hills to enjoy when they get to a particular scenic spot. Barbeques are popular during hot sunny weather, this is just the time when fires can start. We allow purpose build BBQs that are off the ground. Take precautions such as enough water to dowse the fire.

Can I Bring My School Group Out to the Hills?
School groups are more than welcome to enjoy the hills as there is much to see and do. It is recommended for safety to inform us before the event.

Can I Organise a Sponsored Walk?
Sponsored walks are very popular and if you wish to hold such an event, then it would be helpful to contact us with details. Please read 'Application Form and Information'.

Can I Organise an Orienteering Event?
Orienteering events are allowed on the hills.

It is against the byelaws to metal detect and possibly dig up the common and hills.

Can I Sell Food/Drinks/ Gifts from Car Parks?
Under the acts, we licence 6 stalls on the hills (ice cream vans mainly), and these can go out to tender. If you are interested, then please contact us.
