Conserving the open landscape

Conservation Manager Jonathan Bills will be explaining the importance of conserving species-rich grassland habitats that are becoming increasingly rare in the UK.  Join us to find out more about the winter tree and scrub work on the Hills and Commons.

Difficulty: Medium - 2.5 miles on unsurfaced and uneven ground.  May be very wet in places.


 

Please come prepared for the outdoors - wear appropriate weatherproof clothing, sturdy footwear, sun block and a sun hat.
Booking for events is essential – places are limited and you may be turned away if the event is fully booked.
No dogs please.
Please note that the car park charge is £4. Blue badge holders park for free.
Some events are weather dependent. When booking, please provide us with a contact phone number so that we can call you should we need to cancel an event.
We do not charge for events but all charitable donations are gratefully received and go towards conserving the Hills and Commons.
