After reading History at Oxford University I spent over 32 years at Lloyds Bank, specialising in business finance. This gave me exposure to a broad range of organisations, large and small, where I worked closely with management teams to achieve their goals.
Within various roles, I had hands-on experience of corporate finance, negotiating, legal documentation, business law, management best practice, sales and marketing. Following my time at Lloyds I have provided consultancy support to a number of other organisations. My career experience has served me well as a long standing member of the Trust’s Finance, Administration & Resources Committee.
I live, with my family, on one of the commons owned by the Malvern Hills Trust, which keeps me close to the key issues which the organisation faces. I am particularly interested in music, history and walking, especially with our dog.
