Latest snow update for Malvern Hills

Updated at 12:45pm Friday - The Met Office Yellow Warning for snow and ice remains in place for today.  We are expecting to see further snow fall in some areas which will add to that already around the Malvern Hills and Commons. We are advising that people take extra care on the Malvern Hills and only travel if necessary.

If you are visiting the Hills on foot or cycle, please take care as many of the paths will be extremely slippy.  Signs have been put up on the tarmac road to St Ann's Well and Cafe as conditions here are very poor.  The strong winds mean that the wind chill on the tops of the Hills is likely to remove about 10 degrees Celcius from the forecast temperature so wrap up warm.

Our volunteer conservation day on Saturday is also cancelled due to poor weather.

Car park closures

There are a number of car park closures currently in place:

Tank Quarry car park - Closed
Gardiner's Quarry car park - Closed
West of England car park - Closed
Earnslaw car park - Partial closure
British Camp car park - Partial closure.

North Quarry car park is currently open.  Beacon Road car park and Black Hill car park have reopened after being cleared by staff.
