Update 13:50 – The vehicle has been removed and the path is fully open.
A section of the Lady Howard De Walden Drive on North Hill is closed today by a stranded vehicle.
A lorry is stuck on a section of path between the Greenfield Path (zig zag) and Tank Valley which has blocked the path. Access is not possible for walkers mountain bikers, horse riders or mobility vehicles.
Police, Fire Service and a specialist recovery team will be working to move the vehicle today. For safety reasons, further path closures may be required and North Quarry car park may be closed whilst recovery is underway. Please take note of any signage on site and follow instructions from emergency personnel and recovery crews.
