The deadline to submit comments on the Malvern Hills Trust’s proposals to update the Malvern Hills Acts is fast approaching.
Those wishing to have their say have less than one week to complete the consultation questionnaire on whether they agree or disagree with the proposals.
The Malvern Hills Trust, the charity that looks after the Hills and commons and is governed by the Malvern Hills Acts, is putting forward proposals to help it care for this iconic landscape in the 21st century.
Proposals include reducing the size of the board, having additional powers to tackle land management issues and more options to fundraise.
Duncan Bridges, CEO, said “We’d like to thank everyone who has already submitted their consultation questionnaire and have had their say on our proposals.
“It’s really important that people have their say about the changes we’ve put forward to help us care for the Malvern Hills and Commons now and into the future.
“We’d like to remind people that the consultation closes soon and to encourage them to submit their comments and not miss out on this opportunity to contribute.”
People wishing to comment must submit paper copies of the questionnaire by 4pm Friday 11th October and online questionnaires by midnight on Sunday 13th October.
The full consultation document with details on all the proposals and the online questionnaire is available on the Trust’s website www.malvernhills.org.uk/public-consultation.
Paper copies of the proposals and the questionnaire can be requested from the office on 01684 892002.
