This Volunteers' Week we'd like to say a huge thank you to our volunteers who support our charity in caring for this special landscape.
Following the difficulties of the pandemic which meant we had to halt almost all of our volunteer opportunities, we're delighted that people have come back to kindly donate their time to us. Volunteers play such an important role within our organisation and take on a variety of tasks from Conservation Volunteers carrying out practical tasks on the Hills and Commons to our Trustees who guide the charity's direction.
As well as volunteers being directly involved with the Trust, we also support volunteers from other groups and organisations including school groups, scouts, local mountain bikers and other volunteer organisations.
Whether litter picking or assisting in sorting the Trust's archives and historical documents, we are extremely grateful to volunteers for their skills, time and enthusiasm.
