Malvern Hills Trust’s public consultation events are underway with a large number of visitors to the drop-in sessions. A series of sessions are being held as part of the Trust public consultation on proposals to bring the organisation into the 21st century and over 100 people have already attended the first three events.
The two final sessions will be held on, 5th July at Colwall Village Hall from 3pm to 8pm and 7th July at Malvern Theatres (Circle Bar) from 1:30pm to 5:30pm. All are welcome to drop-in and no appointment is necessary.
At each event, information on key proposals are exhibited and the public have the opportunity to speak to Trust staff and trustees.
Full details of the Trust’s proposals are now available on the Trust’s website as well as access to an online questionnaire to gather responses.
The deadline for public consultation responses is the 17th July for paper copies and 22nd July for electronic submissions.
Trust CEO Deborah Fox said: “We’d like to thank everyone who has come to one of our sessions to talk to us about how we can ensure that the Trust is fit for the future. I’ve enjoyed meeting many people so far and we all share a passion for the Hills and Commons.
“The best place to get the facts on our proposals is at one of our drop-in sessions. This is an opportunity for people to speak to us and we welcome discussion and comment about the governance changes we are proposing. Staff and trustees will be there and listening.
“The public consultation is open and we want to hear from you. Please read through our proposals and have your say by filling in the consultation questionnaire.”
The Trust has also published a series of frequently asked questions on its website.
