We're inviting you along to our drop-in sessions this week as part of our public consultation on proposals to bring the Trust into the 21st century.
On the 5th and 7th of July, staff and trustees will be available to answer questions about the need for change, the detailed proposals and how you can have your say.
This year the Trust celebrates its 140th anniversary and the world has changed dramatically since 1884 when we were first established by an Act of Parliament. As we look to the future, to the next 140 years and beyond, our ability to conserve this landscape effectively is stifled by our outdated governance arrangements. To ensure we can continue to safeguard the Hills and Commons we plan to introduce a new Parliamentary Bill to update our governance. A public consultation on the proposed changes is now open.
To find out more, drop-in sessions will be held on:
5th July Colwall Village Hall 3pm-8pm
7th July Malvern Theatres (Circle Bar) 1:30pm-5:30pm
Read more about the proposals and take part in the public consultation. The deadline for responses is the 22nd July (17th July for paper submissions). We look forward to welcoming you at one of our upcoming events.
