On Saturday, our wardens lead a successful trail clearing day with some brilliant volunteers from Malvern Hills Trail Association. The aim of the day was to clear bracken, bramble and gorse from the sides of the bridleway to widen the path and allow for better shared use of the track by mountain bikers, cyclists, horse riders and walkers alike.
Huge thanks to the hardworking volunteers who gave their time to clear the zigzag path above Ivy Scar Rock, as well as opening up the previously overgrown bridleway.
We were delighted to be able to offer an opportunity like this to the association, which opened up more options for mountain biking routes, as well as helping us maintain and provide safer routes for the whole community, promoting responsible recreation in the Malvern Hills and Commons. We are keen to work together more in the near future!
