Meet the MHT Field Staff!

Come rain or shine, hail and snow, rest assured our landscape is in safe hands...

Introducing the Malvern Hills Trust's Field Staff! We held two pop-up events last week at British Camp and North Quarry car parks for people to drop by and find out more about the work we do.

Our awesome team of field staff: Katie, Neil, George, Duncan, Simon and Martin each bring their own great skillset to their roles, helping us take care of our 3,000 acres (1,200 hectares) of land.

Whether it's carrying out our annual tree safety works (pruning, crown reducing, felling), installing our memorial benches, carrying out repairs to fences and pathways, mowing and strimming, helping maintain our infrastructure they're a friendly, dedicated bunch whom we couldn't do without!

We chatted with visitors and locals about what a 'day in the life' entailed, upcoming projects and a little more about the Malvern Hills Trust too. There was also a great deal of interest in our shiny tractors which had been spring cleaned especially for the occasion... so much so it demanded a team photo!

We hope to run more of these type of events for the team to get out and meet visitors and locals and share their stories, and for the public to be able to ask questions and learn more about our vital work in preserving the Hills and Commons! Stay tuned...

Big thank you to the field staff and wardens who gave their time to these events- big smiles all round :)
