Have your say on the future of the Malvern Hills and Commons
The Malvern Hills Trust, which cares for much of the iconic landscape of the Malvern Hills and Commons, is inviting residents and visitors to share their views on this special area to help shape MHT’s future land management.
The Malvern Hills and Commons are a cherished landscape of national importance for its scenery, wildlife, geology, and cultural heritage. They are enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of people each year. But, in delivering multiple objectives, meeting legal duties and balancing the needs of access, conservation, and grazing remains a complex challenge. The practical work of our staff, volunteers and partners is guided by our Land Management Plan.
This plan is being updated now for a start in April 2027 and we're pleased to introduce the first of many ways you can be involved.
We've launched a postcard exercise! From Wednesday 19th November to 31st December, specially designed postcards will be available for you to write down thoughts and return by Freepost. Your views will help guide how we look after the features of the landscape, and help us identify key priorities and environmental challenges to tackle over the next 5 years.
Take a look at our land management plan here: Land Management Plan Malvern Hills Trust and tell us:
1-3 special features that make the Hills and Commons special to you
1-3 Environmental Challenges you think we should tackle
If you have any questions regarding the Land Management Plan, please contact info@malvernhills.org.uk Or if you wish to supply any useful supporting information, please read our Call for Evidence section of the webpage above.
