Land Management Plan Consultation

Have your say on the future of the Malvern Hills and Commons

As you may have seen in our social media posts, The Malvern Hills Trust is developing a new Land Management Plan, which will guide how we care for the landscape, wildlife, and access across more than 1,200 hectares of this special area over the coming years. To make sure the plan reflects a wide range of views and experiences, we’re launching two ways for the public to get involved.

Call for Evidence launching 7th November

From 7th November, we’ll be inviting contributions through our Call for Evidence, open to individuals, organisations, and community groups who have insights, data, or experience to share about the Malvern Hills and Commons.

This will help us build a detailed picture of how people use and value the land, and what challenges and opportunities they see for the future.

You can find out more and take part via our website:

Community Postcard Exercise: coming soon

Alongside the call for evidence, we’ll also be running a Postcard Exercise, a simpler way for everyone to share their thoughts.
Postcards will be available from venues across Malvern, where you can write down what your top 3 special features are in the Hills and Commons and what challenges we could tackle in the years ahead.

An online version of the postcard will also be available soon.

Together, these two consultations will help us ensure the new Land Management Plan reflects the needs of nature, access, and the community.

We’d love to hear from as many people as possible, whether you walk, cycle, ride, volunteer, study wildlife, or simply enjoy the views.

Your input will help shape the future care of this remarkable landscape.
