Our byelaws help us to protect and conserve the Hills and Commons for future generations and provide information for locals and visitors about how they can be responsible. Any breach of a byelaw is illegal and can also be enforced by the Police.

Stockwatch

Livestock within temporary electric-fenced compartments can be found in the following locations:

Northern Hills

Northern Hills

Cattle and Sheep on South East Worcestershire Beacon. Ewes and lambs in lodge Field (off Lodge Drive, North Malvern Road).

Central Hills

Central Hills

Cattle on Wynds Point. Sheep on East Black Hill

Southern Hills

Southern Hills

Sheep may be found freely grazing from British Camp to Gullet Quarry, currently on East British Camp. Cattle on North side of Broad Down and East Ragged Stone.

Old Hills

Old Hills

Cattle no longer on the Old Hills. Ponies can be found grazing year-round.

Castlemorton and Hollybed Commons

Castlemorton and Hollybed Commons

Cattle and sheep can be found throughout.
Stockwatch provides information on the locations of livestock for the Malvern Hills Trust’s projects where temporary electric-fenced compartments are erected. Temporary fencing is erected under section 15 of the Malvern Hills Act 1995.
